Friends and students. This is the online equivalent of showing up for class, so as I usually do, I want to smile, say "Welcome" and ask you how you are doing.
After listening, I would explain that we are in the middle of conducting class activities here, that there is a place for you to belong, so find a spot, pull up a chair and let's continue with the important work that we are doing.
Hopefully, you know what you are doing here, where you are going and what you need to do. But, if not, don't hesitate to ask questions; of me if need be, or of other students. I will be glad to help. But, when appropriate, teach each other because genorosity is the one sure way we can give back to the universe.
